Academic Requirements
A) A member must have and maintain at least a 3.0 GPA.
B) A member must be enrolled in at least one honors science class (AP science, which encompasses Physics, Biology, and Chemistry) during or prior to the eleventh grade year. A member must be enrolled in at least one second year honors science class during or prior to the twelfth grade year. If second year honors science courses are not offered by the school, then the student must be enrolled in a second first year honors science class during or prior to the twelfth grade year.
C) A member must have no grade lower than a B throughout all sciences courses taken during high school.
Science Related Activities and Awards
This portion of the application helps us understand what you have done on your own time to expand your knowledge of science related work/activities, whether it be through participating in robotics, competing in STEM competitions, and/or but not limited to, attending summer science programs. Please provide a brief description for each activity/award. (All examples are listed below)

E) Enrichment Courses Outside of School--Math Enrichment DOES NOT COUNT.
Free Response:
A. Describe one project/activity or club that demonstrates your dedication and commitment to STEM.
B. You’re working on a mandatory project with a tight deadline but you find that you’re unable to complete your section because your teammates and your teacher are unavailable to answer a few key questions. How do you deal with the situation?
Abstract:
Think of an interactive and hands-on science activity that you believe would spark interest for STEM in young children between 7-10 years old. Be creative! We accept all types of responses from an essay to an informal science fair procedure. (Examples: creating lava lamps to explore biochemistry, building miniature robots to witness artificial intelligence, and dissecting owl pellets to compare human and rodent anatomy. )
